What causes hemorroids?
The common causes of haemorrhoids are the type of food a person eats. If the food ingested has very little fiber content in it, there will be possible formation of hard stool which causes strain when defecated. While anal sex does damage to the muscle lining of the anus if done without lubrication. A lot of things and situations can contribute to the formation of hemorrhoids.
What are the signs and symptoms of hemorroids?
The most common signs and symptoms of a person with hemorrhoids is incomplete bowel movements, rectal itching, soft lump felt at the anal opening. All or one of this may be present in a person with hemorrhoids. However, if bleeding occurs upon wiping of anus with a tissue paper, an immediate hemorrhoid treatment or visit to the doctor maybe needed. The reason for this is to check if precipitating factors is involved with the bleeding. Conditions like inflammation in the intestines, anal fissure, colorectal cancer and rectal polyps may be present. Diagnosis should first be confirmed before providing the necessary treatments to a patient.
